Job Summary

The International Account Director, (IAD), is responsible for growing and managing business within SHI’s Strategic or Enterprise customer segments.  The IAD will own the entirety of the sales process and collaborate  with our Sales Leadership, Internal Support, Solutions and Alliances teams to  proactively propose and deliver  our company’s innovative solutions and world class support. 

 

The International Account Director will develop and grow our business in existing customers and assemble and lead the right teams to acquire net new customers within Strategic and Global segments.  Working with CX and the rest of the business, the IAD is ultimately responsible representing SHI and ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience working with us.

 

This role reports into the Enterprise Sales Director and is required to attend a local UK-based office 1-2 days a week and make regular customer visits.

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to: 

  • Develop business in existing customers and win new clients to achieve sales targets as set by the business.
  • Exceed profit and revenue targets.
  • Regular, proactive face time and virtual meetings with customers
  • Maintain an accurate CRM to forecast and manage the business.
  • Produce detailed account plans for customers in your portfolio.
  • Work with the Alliances team and existing contacts to develop strong relationships with our key partners and vendors
  • Complete all KPI’s as set by the business on a quarterly basis to include any training and development courses as determined for your role.
  • Drive attendance to customer technology days, events and networking activities to strengthen relationships, credibility and trust.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-year sales experience in a similar sales role
  • University Degree or relevant workexperience

Certifications Required

  • Industry recognised sales qualifications or certifications preferred.
  • Obtaining ongoing Sales Certifications is a Learning & Development requirement of this role.

Unique Requirements

  • This role is 50% remote and 50% at an SHI location. The International Account Director will be expected to come into a local UK-based office 1-2 days a week and make regular customer visits.

Additional Information

  • Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
  • Base salary DOE alongside uncapped commission.
