Job Summary

The Director of Stratascale Sales is responsible for managing sales activies and will need to have a track record in managing a large geography, attaining aggressive sales goals and the development of senior level sales talent. The position is a challenging and dynamic opportunity for the right individual that requires the ability to lead by example, mentor in a senior capacity and recruit top-level talent.

 

The Director of Stratascale Sales will report to the Regional Sales Vice President. This position is a remote position that may be required to report to a Stratascale office location as required for business needs as determined by Stratascale management.

Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with Regional VP and develop sales strategy, business plan aligned with field teams and business units
  • Drive new client acquisition, growth of accounts and proper mentorship of Account Executives to exceed goals
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to senior leadership in client accounts
  • Build a sales team by recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
  • Oversee the interviewing of a hiring team encouraging the diversity of background and experience
  • Drive the team to create exponential territory growth
  • Partner and collaborate with internal technical support teams’ leadership
  • Promote and cultivate a culture of high performance and teamwork
  • Establish and develop strong Partner relationships
  • Work with Marketing to effectively create brand awareness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required

  • Minimum 10 years of successful sales experience in the technology field
  • Strong knowledge of strategic partner programs such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, Netapp, Microsoft

  • Must have experience presenting to large groups
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with C-Level executives
  • Highly focused on customer solutions and satisfaction
  • Strong negotiation and motivational skills
  • Ability to communicate complex subject matter – both verbally and written 
  • Ability to train and disseminate information within an Area or Operation
  • Ability to resolve and close complex technical and selling situations 
  • Must be results driven with a strong sense of urgency
  • Attention to detail, organization, and follow up skills are critical 
  • Initiative to research and resolve problems with a positive attitude  
  • Strong documentation skills to include system/network diagrams and presentations 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel & PowerPoint

Unique Requirements

  • Position requires 25% travel

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $300,000 - $350,000 which includes a base salary and commission. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
