Job Summary

The UK Warehouse Associate position is key for our Warehouse operations to achieve success. This position is vital to the continued operation of organisation, as it ensures the accurate delivery of all hardware-based solutions. A typical day as a Warehouse Associate consists of goods in, picking, packing, shipping, verifying, checking in, labeling, and stocking customer products.  The Warehouse Associate also is responsible to load outbound orders for our customers. Associates work closely with other warehouse employees to ensure products are received, stored, and shipped both safely and efficiently.

 

The role reports to the Nexus Warehouse Management and may assist the configuration departments as required.

Responsibilities

Include but is not limited to:

  • Load, unload inbound/outbound deliveries
  • Document and properly label inbound inventory in AX
  • Organise stock and packages for receipt of completed purchase orders (PO)
  • Verify orders and receipts for stocking and shipping
  • Sort receipts by zone and company
  • Process orders in our shipping system
  • Create packing slips and shipping labels
  • Help to build and wrap palletised shipments(single/palletised)
  • Pack orders to our customer’s standards and company ISO quality policies
  • Sort, packing, processing outbound orders
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and well organised workspace
  • Ensure all administration tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Ensure all client related information and documentation is handled in accordance to ISO 27001 requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3 x GCSEs
  • Must have good communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Ability to operate a computer and navigate in a Windows based platform

Preferred Skills:

  • 6 Months experience in warehouse roles or retail inventory
  • Ability to operate industrial power equipment (such as standup forklifts, electric Pallet jacks, or stock pickers)
  • Experience with AX & WAX Packship
  • Experience with MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel

Unique Requirements

  • Overtime and weekend work are available, and may be required throughout the year
  • This position is expected to frequently bend, lift, walk and stand for extended periods of time
