Job Summary

As a senior technical lead (Microsoft D365 CE), you will oversee every stage of the delivery for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service solutions within CRM platform, from analysis, design, delivery, to deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite. The role requires expertise in Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Pages, along with a deep understanding of business processes. This position will work directly with IT leadership, product owners, technical teams, and various SHI departments to ensure the successful implementation of CRM solutions.

 

This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset, NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership in defining and executing functional strategies, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals.
  • Guide and mentor the functional team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and facilitate communication between teams.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
  • Guide best practices for solution design and contribute to decision-making processes. 
  • Assist in the deployment planning process, providing support to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address any post-deployment issues and optimize functional performance. 
  • Manages and resolves issues, defects, and change requests.
  • Leads the technical direction of the overall system, maintains the agreed-upon structure of the platform, and ensures that it meets the requirements.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years' experience directly managing software implementation projects.
  • 10+ years' experience in design, development, customization, Implementation, Integration, and administration of MS Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in large teams.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Experience with 3rd party products or technologies (XRMToolBox, XRMToolKit)
  • Experience developing in a continuous integration environment (ALM strategy) using source code control, automated testing, and build automation
  • Experience with Agile development methodology and tools (Azure DevOps).
  • Hands-on experience with large implementations of D365 CE Sales or Marketing solutions
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can take ownership of tasks and activities and drive them to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
  • Current Dynamics 365 CE certifications (Sales or Marketing preferred).
  • Implemented application integration using Azure services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure logic Apps, Azure functions, Azure Data Factory, etc.
  • Experience with 3rd party products or technologies (XRMToolBox, XRMToolKit)
  • Experience developing in a continuous integration environment (ALM strategy) using source code control, automated testing, and build automation

Required Skills

  • Core Development Skills: C#, SQL, .Net, D365, CRM SDK, CRM Plugins, REST API, PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate (formally known as Flow).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies D365/Dataverse (tool configuration and customizations) Model Driven / Canvas Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint
  • Knowledge of business applications, ERP (Microsoft D365 F&O) and CRM (Microsoft D365 Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service)
  • Strong advocate for adherence to standards, best practices, and delivery processes.
  • Experience in leading teams using hybrid, Agile methodologies.
  • Provides the overall design direction, solution, development, and oversight.
  • Capable of driving requirements, planning, and designing Integrations of D365 CE with other systems utilizing Azure Technology Stack.

  • Low-code/no-code development mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with iterative and test-driven development practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong understanding of Agile practices, including Scrum
  • Use of Microsoft Power Platform CoE toolkit to set up standards, consistency, and governance

Unique Requirements

  • Travel to approved conferences or events as needed, up to 10% 

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
