Job Summary

SHI have an exciting opportunity in our Sales department for a Enterprise Sales Manager. Following the continued growth and success of our Enterprise sales organisation, we are looking to gain further market share and expand our solution offerings across the UK. Your focus will be recruitment, mentoring and development, to target and plan on selling Cloud Computing Services, On-premise Data Center Infrastructure, Enterprise Software Licensing and Professional Services.


With your understanding of how to motivate teams, you will coach and develop the sales team to execute against our sales plan and encourage a solution selling mindset that promotes our value propositions to help attract new customers to SHI. Leading by example will be fundamental and is required to support the drive of team and support our UK growth strategy.

Responsibilities

Including but not limited:

  • Working with the Enterprise Sales Director and leadership teams to define and execute a strong Sales Strategy for the Enterprise Sales Division
  • Helping and mentoring the sales teams in all aspects of the sales process.
  • Help the team to target and plan suspects within a designated sales territory. 
  • Help the team to exceed against the goals within our sales plan. 
  • Help grow market share and increase number of new buying accounts. 
  • Support regular customer visits and involvement in large deals. Gain the trust of senior IT and business executives and create long-term relationships. 
  • Working with the L&D team to provide industry knowledge and improve sales skills. 
  • Identify opportunities through prospect review and analysis of whitespace data to drive annuity across the target base. 
  • Conduct 1-2-1 meetings to set monthly objectives and goals and keep up to date with any issues or development needs. 
  • Help to create a fun, energetic and winning team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-year sales management experience
  • University Degree and equivalent

Required Skills

  • Strong coaching and development skills
  • Strong business acumen showing evidence of making sounds business decisions
  • Sales management experience with the ability to motivate others
  • Evidence of target achievement in gross margin sales environment
  • High performing sales experience in IT or similar high-pressure sales environment
  • Excellent time management and people management skills
  • Articulate, hardworking and driven individual
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle, and customer needs process
  • Strong understanding and practical knowledge of relevant Microsoft offerings 
  • Passionate about people! 
  • Professional, high level of integrity and honesty 
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor

Certifications Required

  • Industry recognised sales qualifications or certifications consummate to the role, for example: HPE Hybrid IT 2019 Sales Certification, VMWare Certified Professional. Azure Fundamentals, AWS Professional.

Additional Information

  • Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
