Job Summary

SHI is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager for a temporary full-time position expected to last 6 months, with potential for extension depending on business needs. In this role, you will work with product owners to define and deliver Product Marketing support for existing and new ITAM and optimization solutions and services. This role will focus on creating differentiated messaging, clear value proposition and supporting a good understanding of the solution capabilities among target audiences.

 

The role will involve working with a range of stakeholders from across SHI. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will work in a collaborative team environment that includes functional leadership, subject-matter experts, writers, designers and analyst relations. From this collaboration, they will be able to contribute to the design of effective, high-quality material. The right person will be able to give and accept constructive criticism/feedback with the constant goal of promoting the SHI brand.

 

This position is to report to the SHI Somerset, NJ office location as determined by management.

Responsibilities

Include, but not limited to:

  • Supporting increased awareness and adoption of company developed ITAM services and solutions, both internally and externally.  This will be achieved using a wide variety of marketing channels including (but not limited to):
    • Website Solutions pages
    • Blogs
    • Product & customer testimonial videos
    • Sales PPTs
    • Press announcements
    • Events & webinars
    • Social media
    • RFP content
  • Generating and creating content, with direct responsiblity for messaging and articulating the value proposition across multiple media formats and channels.
  • Collaborating with peers across the marketing organization, including resources to assist with additional copy writing, digital marketing support, events management and project management support.
  • Developing clear and compelling positioning that will guide sales and marketing efforts.
  • Managing the production of product marketing activities and assets.
  • Maintaining brand integrity across all initiatives and communications.
  • Collaborating with internal business leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create targeted content for various buying personas and buying stages of the SHI customer journey.
  • Supporting Demand Generation and Sales Enablement teams with knowledge and content. 
  • Supporting Voice of the Customer activities and working with product teams to ensure continual development of SHI services and solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years’ Product Marketing experience in the technology industry
  • Completed bachelor’s degree
  • Experience of content creation and collaboration with graphic design 
  • Excellent copywriting ability

    • Proficiency in entire Microsoft Office Suite

     Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

    • Experience of one or more of the following domains: IT & Software Asset Management, FinOps, IT Lifecycle Services
    • Experience working with outside media and handling requests for interviews, statements, etc.
    • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
    • Budget management skills
    • Knowledgeable in working in the IT channel

Certifications Required

  • Position may require up to 25% travel
  • This role requires occasional travel to offices in Austin, TX/Somerset, NJ (US-based candidates) or London (UK-based candidates)
  • This role is a temporary full-time position expected to last 6 months or until project completion

Additional Information

  • The estimated pay range for this temporary position is $70,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
