IT Solutions Architect – Boomi

Included but not limited to: 

• Demonstrates leadership to ensure that transformation solutions recommendations are comprehensive and meet business objectives.
• Engage with multiple layers of contacts within the organization to gain insights into the environment.
• Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
• Develop cross-functional strategies and solutions.
• Translates business and technical objectives into prioritized, phased solutions.
• Oversee and facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards.
• Provide technology/architecture recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing, and deployment.
• Keep the portfolio current, driving the retirement of legacy solutions/technologies.
• Contribute to the design of operational processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with policies and security requirements.
• Stay current with new technologies and frameworks and recommend adopting new partners or solution components.
• Builds current and future state integration diagrams and views.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information
• systems, or relevant work experience is required.
• 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture or software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with application development and modernization.
• 5+ years of experience supporting the following in a large enterprise environment:
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 – Finance and Operations.

• Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated
• systems using the Boomi Atmosphere platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate
• them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain a Boomi integration strategy, including adopting best
• practices and assessing new Boomi features and capabilities.
• Serve as the technical expert in Boomi technologies, providing guidance and
• mentorship to team members as we migrate to Boomi platform.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and practices in integration solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of integration development, including requirements
• gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Improve existing integration processes, reducing complexity and optimizing
• performance.
• Core Development Skills: C#, SQL, JSON, REST API, Power BI, Power Platform,
• GitHub (including Actions), Jenkins, Jira.
• Design and support multi-tier applications and cloud-based architectures.
• Expertise in diagramming tools (Visio/LucidChart).
• Ability to analyze requirements, recommend technical solutions and write technical
• specifications.
• Knowledge of securing RESTful APIs (OAuth 2.0, etc.).
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration architectures,
• designs, and processes.
• Provide hands-on development support and conduct code reviews to ensure
• adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Monitor and manage the health and usage of the Boomi environment, optimizing
• resources and scaling as necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between
• various business systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other Integration or middleware platforms (MS BizTalk/Azure, MuleSoft, Tibco, etc.).
• Cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile practices, including Scrum.
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Travel as needed based on business needs and determined by SHI management.

• The estimated annual pay range for this position is $130,000 - $200,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual
