The Inside Account Executive - Development role at SHI is an initial stepping stone into B2B IT sales. Our professional development program takes a holistic approach to preparing you for a successful sales career using a combination of practical, instructor/peer-led, and self-paced learning.
The program's first three months will provide a foundational understanding of Technology and how Public Sector customers use it to achieve desired business outcomes. Participants will learn to sell professionally, including operating systems and tools, profiling accounts, prospecting, resource utilization, and preparing for customer meetings. We will also provide coaching on professional communication and etiquette.
The program continues with participants being given individual books of business to develop. You will be part of a team and learn by being shoulder-to-shoulder with peers. Continuous coaching and development will be provided to ensure a seamless transition. Your performance and the needs of the business will determine your eligibility for promotion to an Inside Account Executive role, where you will have the opportunity to increase your earnings with the addition of a commission plan.
