Job Summary

IT Systems Administrator supports, troubleshoots, and maintains the organization’s on-premises computer systems. As well as cloud-based and on-premises application infrastructure services. These services include, but are not limited to, Parallels RAS, Microsoft Dynamics AX, UKG Kronos, DocuSign, DocuWare, and numerous SAAS applications.

 

This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities

Includes but not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain the following:
    • Microsoft Servers
    • Terminal Servers
    • Remote application servers
    • Document management infrastructure
  • Create server images that include the operating system, security software, and applications
  • Patching Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
  • Troubleshoot and remedy server issues, tier 2
  • Upgrade on-premises software applications
  • Perform Activity Directory tasks associated with users and application requirements
  • Perform Azure/Entra ID tasks associated with users and application requirements
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining SAAS applications
  • Perform technology reviews for newly requested software
  • Resolve Incident Management issues
  • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for application issues
  • Development of systems and procedure documentation
  • Respond to critical system and application issues (off hours)
  • Interact with other teams to assist in troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years administering Windows Server (2012-2020)
  • 2-3 years experience in patching Windows Servers
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server networking
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience administering a Microsoft endpoint management solution such as Microsoft Deployment Tool (MDT), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager 

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
