Job Summary

The Manager - Security & Software Partners will be a dedicated resource in managing the relationships between the company and some of our software partners, and responsible for managing, training, and growing a team of support resources for the respective partners under their portfolio. The Manager - Security & Software Partners will align our specialists to help our sellers to support and grow our partners' footprints. This position will report to the Sr. Manager or director. 

 

This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset, NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to: 

  • Meet and exceed business objectives set by management, as well as drive key marketing initiatives
  • Support and work towards optimal revenue and margin growth for specific respective partners
  • Manage Sales Specialists and Business Development Managers both in the office and remotely
  • Maximize their talent, motivation, and skills e.g., Coaching, 1:1 Sessions, Team Meetings, Feedback Sessions, Shadowing
  • Ensure team achieves their quarterly business objectives by tracking trends compared to objectives
  • Work with respective partners as well as company leaders on partners’ GTM (Go to Market) Strategy, marketing, and annual business plans
  • Track growth patterns and analytics using BI and Power BI on respective partners' performance within the company
  • Guide partners on correct ways and best practices to engage our company to help grow their business lines based on experience 
  • Educate company sales leaders on partners and sales trends/performance as well as important level industry changes through emails, newsletters, blogs, or proposed meetings
  • Responsible for overseeing the employees who are tasked with day-to-day matters and functions
  • Handles work assignment, timekeeping, and problem-solving and is responsible for quality, motivation, and training
  • Evaluate the competency and success of team members and execute strategic direction that is in-line with department, company initiatives, job description and leadership
  • Provides advice and suggestions to management based on team needs
  • Delegates work such as department wide projects and partner requests to members of the team
  • Serves as a point of escalation for partner, team, sales reps, and any other division of the company
  • Responsible for providing individual coaching when necessary
  • Identify department wide process improvement areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to maintain efficiency and productivity 
  • Handles disturbances affecting team or work goals in an appropriate and timely manor
  • Articulates both short and long-term goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in a Presales Specialist or Presales BDM position or minimum of 3+ years sales experience within Inside/Outside sales or Partner/Vendor support experience.
  • Broad Knowledge of Partners/Vendors and its integration with Sales within our company

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous manager experience

Certifications Required

  • Maintain partners’ certifications must be maintained during employment if applicable  

Unique Requirements

  • Position requires no more than 20% of travel for conferences  

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
