Job Summary

The Networking Business Intern will support the team by extracting data insights from OEM & internal data, developing high-ROI sales strategies, and reporting on industry trends. The role involves data administration and coordination of activities to enhance our networking business operations.

 

This position will be based in Austin, TX, and will report to Victoria Delomel, the leader of Networking Partnerships.

Responsibilities

Include, but not limited to:  

  • Data Insights Extraction:
    • Analyze OEM and internal data to derive actionable insights and trends.
    • Create detailed reports and visualizations to facilitate data-driven strategic decisions.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with the Business Sales Executive teams to formulate and implement high-ROI sales strategies.
    • Assist in the preparation of presentations and proposals.
  • Industry Trend Reporting:
    • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
    • Compile and present findings to guide business strategy and operations.
  • Data & Process Management:
    • Create and manage surveys; compile results and provide strategic recommendations.
    • Assist in planning and executing contests related to sales initiatives.
  • Event Support:
    • Support logistics and planning for internal meetings and networking events.
    • Assist in creating marketing and presentation materials for customer engagements.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in good academic standing working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development or related field
  • Familiarity using AI technologies  

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint presentation creation.
  • Understanding of data tracking and analysis metrics.
  • Technologically savvy with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Unique Requirements

  • The intern selected will be required to work 29 hours a week during at least an 8-week period   

Additional Information

  • The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00/Hr.
