Jr. IT Analyst - Internship

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. IT Analyst Intern to join our dynamic IT team. The internship offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring IT professionals to gain hands-on experience in analyzing and improving IT systems and processes. The successful candidate will support various IT projects, work closely with experienced analysts, and contribute to the optimization of our technology infrastructure and platforms, conduct competitive analysis, research and data analytics. 

This position will report to the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ office location

Includes but not limited to

• Assist in analyzing and documenting business requirements and IT processes. 
• Support the IT team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. 
• Participate in the development and implementation of IT solutions. 
• Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze data for system improvements. 
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on IT performance and initiatives. 
• Help maintain and update IT documentation and user guides.  
• Capture documents and engineer business processes.  
• Conduct research on emerging IT trends and technologies to support strategic planning. 
• Conduct competitive analysis on platform features and functionality 
• Research business trends to recommend product and content placement 
• Create reports and dashboards. Analyze data to help make recommendations 

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in good academic standing working towards a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.    

• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose problems   

• Excellent critical thinking skills.  

• Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.  

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, time-management skills   

• Attention to detail  

• Ability to define, execute, and follow up on deadlines and goals.  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies. 

• Familiarity with basic programming languages, IT tools, Power BI, Google Analytics or dashboard creation work is a plus. 

• The intern selected will be required to work 29 hours a week over a specified 12-week duration.  

• The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00/Hr.
