Job Summary

The Quality Improvement Intern will support the Quality Improvement team in various initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality management and process improvement within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

 

This position will report to the Somerset, NJ office location.

Responsibilities

Includes but not limited to

 

  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to quality improvement projects.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality improvement plans and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Conduct literature reviews to gather information on best practices in quality improvement.
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Program Manager.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in good academic standing working towards a bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Unique Requirements

  • The intern selected will be required to work 29 hours a week over a specified 12-week duration.  

Additional Information

  • The hourly pay range for this position is $16.00/Hr.
