Job Summary

The Partner Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Business Development Manager (BDM) to implement vendor business plans and maintain strong relationships with partners, including Distributors and Vendors/OEMs. This position focuses on supporting the BDM on fostering effective partnerships, ensuring alignment with SHI's strategic goals, and driving growth through collaboration and partner engagement.

The role involves managing both internal and external operational processes and ensuring compliance to deliver high service levels.

 

This position is based in Paris and reports to the International Marketing & Vendor Manager for France.

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

 

Partner Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Work closely with the BDM and sales teams to deliver effective, relevant, and beneficial engagements to foster collaboration and drive growth across the partner network.
  • Schedule brands training seasons and visits to HQ for sales representatives
  • Potentially collaborate and support with management of Tier 3 Vendors and emerging partners.

Partner Program Management:

  • Understand, manage, and maintain the requirements and conditions necessary to retain or improve SHI Partner Program status.
  • Ensure partner compliance with SHI’s standards and best practices, while continuously improving operational functions.
  • Monitor individual certifications to maintain company status.
  • Manage partner portals.
  • Potentially obtain relevant certifications when identified and required to support company partner accreditation status.

Operational Management:

  • Manage and own processes and operational functions effectively, ensuring seamless execution and partner satisfaction.
  • Create, develop, and improve best practices to enhance partner collaboration and program effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with the BDM and Partners on invoicing and following up on rebates and MDF through AX and the relevant Partner Portals.
  • Follow up on business and marketing activities with vendors.
  • Design and localization of content, both print and digital, communication materials, including the drafting of e-mailings, sales pitches, brochures and the translation of Group assets, etc.
  • Updating of the SHI France blog and intranet MySHI.

Sales Resource Optimization:

  • Support sales teams by maintaining and maximizing the utilization of internal and external resources.  

Campaign and Activity Facilitation:

  • Facilitate and execute partner-agreed campaigns and activities, aligning efforts with the BDM and relevant SHI teams for coordinated execution.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of campaigns to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the BDM in delivering marketing actions with vendors and with marketing budgets (activities registration, activity claims, MDF invoicing).
  • Execute the following activities, included but not limited to (non-exhaustive list):
  • Organization of customer events: invitation management, creation of invitation emails, follow-up of reminders, confirmation of invitations, and sending of thank-you emails.
  • Creation and delivery of content for communication campaigns established with BDM/ vendors (newsletters, banners, emailing’s, social networks, website, etc.) and internal communications.
  • Co-organization of internal events, including invitation management and program creation (sales kick-off; SHI’s annual events; etc.).
  • Spiffs
  • Community management
  • Maintaining editorial and vendor activities planning
  • Performance monitoring and reporting. 

Adherence to PPSS Pillars:

  • Execute responsibilities while adhering to the five PPSS Pillars

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 experience in a similar position
  • University Degree or equivalent

Required Skills

  • Fluency in French and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Additional Information

  • Hybrid position based in Issy-les-Moulineaux 3 days per week in the office
