    Job Summary

    SHI has an exciting opportunity available in our Software & Licensing group as a territory based Licensing Executive for our Corporate sales division. This is a customer facing sales engagement role providing front line support for our Account Executives and customers, helping determine the best Microsoft solution for their needs.  


    This position will be required to report to the SHI Austin, TX office location. 


    Responsibilities/Job Function

    Primary Responsibilities (to include but are not limited to the following):

    • Act as Customer Facing Licensing Solutions "Consultant"
    • Evaluate and review complex Microsoft proposals/amendments
    • Executing & Selling Customers on Net New Microsoft Agreements.
    • Executing On-Time Renewals and True-ups for existing SHI customers
    • Interpret Microsoft volume license contracts for customers/prospects
    • Assist Account Executives with SHI’s Agreement Optimization Plan(T-36)
    • Educate the sales teams on Microsoft programs and best practices for driving EA’s and Microsoft revenue.
    • Strategize on deliverables for cost analysis/proposal creation
    • Develop and implement both company-wide and client facing training webinars geared toward the latest changes in Microsoft licensing, products, and programs
    • Some travel required

    Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

    • Fundamental working knowledge of Microsoft products, solutions, and volume licensing programs.
    • Experienced with selling information technology products, services and/or solutions.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills. Ability to understand data and drive actions based on quantitative and qualitative insights/trends.
    • Drive for results - the ability to translate strategies and plans into winning local action
    • 3-5 years of related IT Industry sales/business experience - Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) required

    Preferred Skills

    • Working knowledge of Excel
    • Working knowledge of PowerPoint
