  • Job Summary

    SHI has an exciting opportunity as a Corp Marketing Communication Specialist. This Specialist will work in a collaborative environment with the existing team members to create and support the development of all internal corporate communications and internal events.  A Corp Marketing Communication Specialist main responsibilities include project management, event planning, logistical support, and communication at SHI's Corporate Division. A qualified candidate should possess institutional knowledge of SHI and/or the IT industry and demonstrate an aptitude towards creativity.

     

    This position will be required to report to the SHI Austin TX 1301 South Mo Pac Office.

    Responsibilities/Job Function

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Identifying, developing and executing communications strategies for all of SHI Corp while ensuring that messages are supportive of and consistent with sales strategies.
    • Delivering high quality content for company-wide communications, ex. The Weekly, TV monitor slides, etc.
    • Creating and delivering media relations content, case studies, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.
    • Planning and supporting internal events including Leadership Weeks, Sales Conferences (Halftime and Kickoff) and SHIndig events.
    • Designing and initiating an employee engagement strategy for all segments across SHI Corp.
    • Collect feedback on employee engagement and culture to evaluate results and continuous improvement.

    Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

    • Ability to work under general supervision.
    • A completed 4 year Bachelor’s/University degree is a requirement for this role
    • Project management
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organization skills
    • Ability to market news, events and updates to SHI employees
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
    • A completed 4 year Bachelor’s/University degree is a requirement for this role
