    Job Summary

    SHI has an exciting opportunity to join SHI’s Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG).  Field Service Technicians provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise, modify/repair point-of-sale and IT hardware as well as resolve technical issues /problems to ensure continuity of customer retail operations. Generate and process required company/customer documentation and asset management accurately and on-time.

     

    Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm.  Nights, weekends and holidays.  On-call rotation.  Must be willing to work overtime (nights, weekends and holidays)

    Responsibilities/Job Function

    Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Driving to customer sites.
    • Troubleshoot and repair point-of-sale and IT related hardware in a retail environment
    • Maintain parts inventory and company-owned vehicle
    • Operate within SHI’s call management system and other business applications
    • Establish, build and continue rapport with customers

    Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

    Required Skills:

    • Clean, valid driver’s license
    • Strong time management, troubleshooting and organizational skills.
    • Excellent customer service.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment
    • Must be able to work flexible schedules including on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
    • Ability to lift and handle up to 75 lbs.
    • Receive service calls and complete them within specified SLA period.
    • Must be able to obtain a Weights & Measures scale license for one or more states.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written skills including: writing, editing, and communicating with both internal and external customers
    • A+ and other industry certifications
