The Inside Account Executive team in NJ focuses on Public Sector accounts throughout the country, primarily School Districts and municipalities.     The Role:
    Our Entry Level Inside Account Executive position at SHI is the best way to build a foundation in B2B IT sales. At the center of any solution, our partnerships and coaching give you the platform to build and manage your own business and develop your personal value. This Inside Sales role is unique in giving you experience servicing organizations end-to-end from introductions to customer management. We don’t manufacture a product, we manufacture a customer experience and your job is to create the best possible experience in their quest to purchase IT solutions. We strongly believe in developing our reps to service every aspect of the customer experience, which will prepare you for any role you may want as you move forward in your career. As an Inside Account Executive at SHI you will interact with the largest manufactures in the Tech industry every day, i.e.: Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, HP, Cisco, Google, and Dell to name a few.

    Responsibilities/Job Function

    •Prospecting into existing and new customers to expand SHI's relationship within
    •Target number of outbound calls between 30 - 40 per day
    •Grow a customer base through working with existing contracts
    •Provide consultation to customers regarding their IT solutions needs
    •Process Orders and quote for both new and existing customers
    •Gain industry knowledge through a series of sales and technology trainings
    •Leverage internal and partner resources to advance an opportunity
    •Lead follow up from partner events and trade shows
    •Work well in a fun and energetic team environment
    Consistently achieve or exceed activity and sales goals
    •Learn and utilize SHI's internal systems

     

    Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

     

    Ability to learn and deliver SHI’s world class support
    •Associate/2yr college degree minimally required
    •Strong written and verbal communication skills
    •Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
    •Self-Motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment

     
    Preferred Skills:
     
    •Previous sales or customer service experience
    •High level of interest in Technology and sales career
    •Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel
     
    Skills Obtained as an Inside Account Executive:
    • Phone Support, Frontline Support, Call Center, Business Development, Communications, Inside Sales, Territory Management, Cold-Calling
