    Job Summary

    SHI has an exciting opportunity in the Enterprise Inside Sales department as an Inside Sales Operations Admin. This individuals will assist with a variety of tasks in support of Inside Sales, some of which are outlined below. This position will be reporting to our HQ 290 location.

    Responsibilities/Job Function

    The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Assisting with CRM data and physical file cleanup
    • Fielding SHI.com requests and forwarding to correct sales teams
    • Requesting information from vendors, such as invoices, pricing and order status
    • Processing overflow work from the sales team or operations, such as placing orders, working on Renewal Opportunities, creating vendors and parts for AX
    • Forwarding Ariba Mods, handling Warehouse voicemails, and other duties as requested
    • Order entry, receiving and responding to e-mails, order status, etc., in support of the Enterprise Commercial Teams
    • Regular engagement with Inside Account Managers, Inside Sales Manager, Partner teams and Vendors

    Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

    • Ability to learn fast and absorb knowledge on a daily basis
    • Ability to clearly communicate and effectively work well with others
    • Exceptional written (example: e-mail) and verbal (example: phone) communication skills. Candidates may be asked to demonstrated these skills as part of the interview process
    • Strong time management and organization skills
    • Possess an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude 
    • Self-motivated and willing to learn



    • Some College Preferred


    Preferred Skills:

    • Customer service and/or customer facing experience
    • Well rounded working knowledge of SHI’s tool and applications: Microsoft Dynamics AX, BI, CRM, SharePoint, and Sales Center
    • Proficiency in the following applications/platforms:
      • Office 2010, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
      • Office 2013 applications are a plus
      • Windows 7
      • Windows 10 experience is a plus
